TLS - Prime Vendor

The TLS program was created to infuse supply chain management best practices into the procurement process of commercial goods and services to the U.S. Government. These best practices incorporate the latest innovations in information technology, supply chain management theory and real world experience to provide improved customer support. The companies chosen as TLS vendors are audited on a regular basis by DLA Troop Support for competitive pricing, overall customer satisfaction and promptness of delivery. The TLS contract allows customers to order specific USA made tactical gear and brand name products to meet their mission requirements and to add new products to fit the scope of the TLS contract. TLS, as a component of DLA, also allows customers to use Military Standard Requisitioning & Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) requisitions, government credit cards and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR).

USMC SERVMART

On 26 October 2007, Major General Edward G. Usher, Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics, and Commissioner James A. Williams of GSA's Federal Acquisition Service signed a Memorandum of Agreement to designate the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) as the logistics provider for readily available commercial supplies. In addition to traditional "brick and mortar" retail stores on select Marine bases, the program is operated through the USMC ServMart Virtual Web site. This web site provides authorized Marine buyers with online access to thousands of products including office supplies, industrial supplies, computer peripherals, and tools and hardware for requisition-based ordering.

The goal of the USMC ServMart is to provide Marine Corps customers with quick, consistent access to a wide array of USA made tactical gear and products while minimizing time and costs spent on routine purchases. All orders are requisitions and can be placed via government purchase card or valid RUC. We invite you to explore and submit any comments or questions to usmcservmart@gsa.gov
